About Us
The history of our Unicoi Methodist Church goes back to 1927, and the establishment of Jones Chapel Methodist Church.
Throughout the decades, this church has been a strong, powerful tool for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is our prayer and best hope that this church will continue to serve and bless the declaration of the truth of the Scripture, the Gospel, and our community at large.
Who We Are
We are embarking upon a new chapter in the history of our church and its ministry. Our church intends to be a place of worship, evangelism, biblical teaching, support, compassion, and service to the Unicoi community and beyond.
We believe in reaching out to our community and neighbors in every way we can. We share the Gospel with our community in times in which our neighbors have moments of difficulty, stress, and discouragement.
What We Believe
You may have heard some negative, scandalous reports about the church in recent years, but rest assured, Unicoi Methodist Church does not agree with or embrace these radical ideas. Unicoi Methodist Church affirms the scriptures as the very Word of God.
We believe Jesus is the one path to salvation, and the church is the Body of Christ. We believe in the power and ministry of the Holy Spirit. We are evangelical, tradition, and conservative.
